PBM SBC Aluminum Sportsman & Race Blocks
PBM Sportsman Proprietary A-356 T7 aluminum splayed cap blocks are ideal for Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Drag Racing or the Ultimate Street Engine. This block can be bored to 4.185″ and oil pan rails are clearanced to accept a 3.800″ stroke. The block is designed to accept factory accessories, stock oil pan rails, stock cam dimension and location, timing cover, oil filter and fuel pump, .842″ lifter bores, 3.990 or 4.115″ bores and wet sump compatible.
PBM (RA) Race Proprietary A-356 T7 raised .391″ 50mm cam, .800″ wider oil pan, splayed cap w/ 6 bolt rear cap blocks are designed and manufactured to be the strongest and most durable block on the market. Great attention has gone into the total design from high capacity high flow water jackets that deliver even cooling for improved heat dissipation. Fully supported cylinder bores for less bore distortion for improved ring seal, .842 or 904″ ava bushed lifter bores and tapered main webs for increased strength and reduced distortion.
