AwesomeEngines® offers all the new World Merlin IV Big Block Chevrolet Redesigned Race Blocks. Incorporating numerous new improvements and features such as; thicker main webs for increased strength, thicker cylinder walls which are now nominally .310″ @ 4.600 bore, revised oiling system with enlarged passages and cross overs in front, uses simple pipe plug type restrictors, relocated .500″ 55mm cam does not require lifter bushings, block accepts cam journals to 2.480″ or 60mm babbitt and 1.060″ lifter bores, new deck heights from 9.500″ to 9.850″ and 10.200 to 12.250″

Align honed • CNC blueprint bored • CNC blueprint square decked 90° from crank and cam bar to your required deck height • Plate honed from 4.125″ to 4.600″ bore sizes • Brass plugs, cam bearings installed then hot washed for a ready to install your rotator or a new one into this brand new totally redesigned block. 4.120″ 396/402ci bore 9.8 Nodular to a 4.600″ 10.200 Billet Cap 55mm race block
