We completely disassemble and mark all parts. We inspect every moving part to make sure everything will last the next 20 years. We upgrade all heads with hardened seats, new guides, valves, springs, retainers, locks and seals bringing the heads back to new if needed. We also inspect every moving part of the valve train such as rockers, push rods etc, for reliability and continued performance.
For the lower half, we inspect all clearances and surfaces. Boring the block and turning the crank to put back to new specifications are done only if needed. We check all rods and recondition only if needed with new bolts and bushings if required. You can not tell we reconditioned the rods with our procedures. You see no parting lines.
We buy a quality master engine rebuild kit along with a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty and change out every wearable part in the engine. All engines get rebalanced, blueprinted & professionally assembled and dyno tested and tuned if requested. This puts the value of your original #’s matching engine back to new specs and back into your engine bay with more power. All engines are painted the original or customers choosing color. A video of the dyno session is recorded and the blue print and balance sheets given.

High Performance and uncommon engines that require forged pistons & flat tappet hi-performance camshafts, such as DZ302′s 327, 350,427 454 Chevy, Ford, Mopar, AMC, Oldsmobile, Pontiac etc will be slightly higher.
