Kauffman Pontiac MR1 Block improvements over a stock block: High quality cast iron, thicker decks, standard splayed steel billet 4 bolt main caps, capable 4.400″ bore, 4.750″ stroke, dual bell housing bolt patterns, redesigned lifter galley strengthened needing no lifter brace, no water penetration at the clutch ball. Pontiac MR 1 block was designed to accept all stock Pontiac parts and no need to build a drag race or power adder Pontiac Engine with a 60+ year old block that was never designed for today’s 3000HP + from many different power adders available.
